Today could be the start of something really great for me, my brother and his wife had their first child. A beautiful baby girl was born this morning before noon, who they have named Peyton Abigail Barney. She could quite possibly be the cutest little thing I've ever seen.

Jazz go up 2 on Rockets at home in Houston

Tonight I watched the second playoff game between the first round match up between the Utah Jazz and the Houston Rockets... many are considering the series over, largely due to the outstanding home record of the Jazz (37-4)... but it is not over till it is over. Time and time again we Jazz fans have gotten our hopes up only to have them trounced by another team in the west (nearly all of them have had their turn) or in the rare trip (2 times) to a NBA Finals, by one of the very best to ever play the game (MJ). True the series between the Jazz and Rockets may be all but over with a sweep likely and at the very most the Jazz would only cough up one game to the Rockets in Utah (Rockets did win one game in Utah during the regular season). One way or another it could be the year, they will not have any huge additions to the team next year and may even lose a player when this season is all said and done... so why not this year, it is just as good a year as any and the chances are just as good as they have ever been (as long as someone can knock of the Spurs, so we don't have to play them). I don't like to get my hopes up to have them ruined, but I have got the fever this year... GO JAZZ!!
